Imagine if we didn’t get names at birth. Like, parents legally had to call you “No Name” until you turned 5. So every household is just No Name 1, No Name 2, No Name 3… based on birth order.

Then at 5, you finally get to choose your name. But obviously that name only lasts until you’re 15, because whatever your 5-year-old brain picks is not surviving the glow-up. Then at 15, you rename yourself again. Then again at 25, because your teenage naming choices absolutely cannot follow you into adulthood. After 25? That’s it. Locked in. No more edits. That’s the name you die with.

So anyway, using that system, imagine you get to name us (the community, the baby). Fast forward: we’ve hit age five. It’s time to choose our name.
